چکیده
The title compound, Cs(1.5)Na(0.5)[Pt(CN)(4)]·1.5H(2)O, was isolated from solution as a salt. The tetra-cyanidoplatinate (TCP) anions are stacked in a linear quasi-one-dimensional arrangement along the b axis, with Pt⋯Pt inter-actions of 3.6321 (5) Å. The mixed alkali metal TCP contains three distinct alkali metal positions in the structure that do not show any mixed occupancy: Cs1 (site symmetry 2), Cs2 (general position) and Na1 (site symmetry ). The Na(+) ion contains an octa-hedral coordination environment composed of two water mol-ecules and four N-terminal cyanides, which serve to bridge TCP anions. The Cs(+) cations contain mono- and bicapped square-prismatic environments, where the square prisms are formed from cyanide N atoms with water mol-ecules capping the faces. The 1.5 water mol-ecules per formula unit are a result of two fully occupied sites, one on a general position and one on a twofold rotation axis. Weak hydrogen-bonding inter-actions are observed between one water mol-ecule and terminal N-atom acceptors from TCP, while the second water mol-ecule is not involved in hydrogen bonding.

Hemisodium, a novel selective Na ionophore. Effect on normal human erythrocytes
Hemisodium is a novel Na ionophore that belongs to the class of compounds called cryptands. These compounds possess an electron-rich cavity for binding of cations and are conformationally organized during synthesis to favor the selective binding of one cation over another. In media containing 145 mM NaCl and 5 mM KCl, hemisodium (10(-5) M) increased erythrocyte Na content from 23 to 345 mmol/kg...
متن کاملPantoprazole Sodium Sesquihydrate Complexes: Synthesis, Characterization, Potentiometric Determination and DNA interaction
The synthesis and characterization of solid complexes for pantoprazole sodium sesquihydrate (PNZ) with Cd(II), Hg(II) and Zn(II) metals in molar ratios M:L = 1:2 was studied. The complexes are stable in the solid state and are soluble only in DMF and DMSO. The metal complexes were characterized by elemental analysis, molar conductivity measurements, magnetic susceptibility, UV spectrophotometry...
متن کاملAqua(iminodiacetato-κ3 O,N,O′)(1,10-phenanthroline-κ2 N,N′)zinc(II) sesquihydrate
The imino-diacetate dianion in the title compound, [Zn(C(4)H(5)NO(4))(C(12)H(8)N(2))(H(2)O)]·1.5H(2)O, chelates to the Zn(II) center with its N and two O atoms. The metal atom is also chelated by the N-heterocycle and coordinated by one water molecule, leading to a distorted octahedral environment. The dianion, and coordinated and uncoordinated water mol-ecules inter-act through O-H⋯O hydrogen ...

In the title compound, {[Mn(C(2)O(4))(C(8)H(7)N(3))]·1.5H(2)O}(n), the Mn(II) ion is chelated by two O,O'-bidentate oxalate ions and an N,N'-bidentate 3-(2-pyrid-yl)pyrazole mol-ecule, resulting in a distorted cis-MnN(2)O(4) octa-hedral geometry for the metal ion. The bridging oxalate ions generate wave-like polymeric chains propagating in [001]. The packing is consolidated by N-H⋯O and O-H⋯O h...

In the title compound, [Ni(C(3)H(10)N(2))(3)][Pt(CN)(4)], the [Pt(CN)(4)](2-) anion with the environment of the Pt(II) atom, lying on a mirror plane, is square planar, whereas the Ni(II) atom in the [Ni(C(3)N(2)H(10))(3)](2+) cation, also lying on a mirror plane, has a slightly distorted octa-hedral coordination geometry. Three chiral 1,2-diamino-propane mol-ecules, which are disordered equally...
